A Dreary Day – Best for Planting

After an active morning rescuing plants from an area to be developed and potting them for the Mother Nature’s Market at Indian Creek Nature Center, Mary W. and I dug up ginger and lilies and something like a Solomon Seal at her home.  I was pretty tuckered out after the dig and putting in the ginger.  Clouds gathered, I did Reiki, rested, prepared supper, fooled on the computer and after supper in a light rain put in the lilies and “Solomon Seal” in just the right place in the labyrinth.

Putting in Mary's Lilies

I am not sure which is harder – digging when the clay soil is dry and like cement, or wet and dense like almost set cement.  Phew!  Tuckered out.
