    mine is definitely a crow or raven. I have trouble telling them apart. My dad MUST be an owl. In the Harry Potter world they are called patronuses. I like that they are spread across man cultures and even in modern fiction!
    I would think yours is something inquisitive and grounding. Maybe a gray fox? ( moved out of the east )
