How

How I interact with a labyrinth is what I need at the time.  Simply walked to the center and left after turning 360 degrees.  The unconditional welcoming that I felt and gentle overlay of suggestion to “be patient” with self calmed.  Today the view from Regis was more or less clear depending of the direction I looked.  To the north Collins Plaza and the radio and water towers stood out. West, Mount Mercy University rooftops just peeked through the arborvitae.  South, the Cedar Rapids skyline, ducks busily passing by and vultures soaring overhead.  East, looking into the sun I could make out various landforms and buildings and imagined the rest – home.  Overhead were high cirrus slipping in.  Harbingers of change. An occasional light breeze teased my scarf and tussled my hair.  The sun warmed and comforted. Then, I walked out.
