Sublime Visit to Prairiewoods

The only 30 minutes of sun all day found me at Prairiewoods Spirituality Center picking up the canvas labyrinth for Sunday’s New Bo Books, CSPS and Winding Pathways collaborative program.

Then, I drove back to the Hermitages and walked to the labyrinth.  Fox prints paralleled the mini-snow dunes. A chickadee and blue jay sounded.  Far off was the roar of the interstate.  But, nearby – silence.  Aztec Hot Chocolate in hand, I stood and felt peace enfold me.  Someone’s tracks bisected the snow covered labyrinth. Oak leaves hung quietly. Grasses lay stiff. The experience was lovely.
